With pioneering and exploratory approach, Hublot has been thriving on challenges. Keen to preserve its traditional and cutting-edge expertise, and guided by its philosophy to ‘Be First, Different and Unique, the Swiss watchmaker is consistently ahead of the curve, through its innovations. Here we pick two of our favourites from the Hublot’s treasure.

Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary watch

To celebrate the 90th birthday of the most successful race team from Modena, Hublot has embodied its wonderful sporting adventure in three limited editions of the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary watch. Hublot has been a long-standing partner of Scuderia Ferrari, and we know that Scuderia cars have been first to reach the chequered flags on all the world’s race tracks. And this model as well reflects the rich history and heritage of Scuderia Ferrari. The 45-mm-diameter of each of the three editions houses the famous UNICO movement, a flyback chronograph that offers a 72-hour power reserve. Their bezel is cut in ceramic carbon, the same material that is used for Formula 1 brake discs.

To fall in-line with the purest traditions of car racing, the first version is inspired by the early years of Scuderia Ferrari and its glorious past. The present look of the car is reflected in the 3D carbon that is used to make the case of the second edition. And the third model demonstrates the extreme sophistication that technology is heading towards and the possibilities it offers for the future. Each of the three versions of the watch bears one of the three colours of the Scuderia on its border, the numbers and the index. Yellow for the platinum edition, red for the 3D carbon edition and black for the sapphire edition. All three will be produced in a limited edition of 90, and 10 ‘collector’ sets with all three watches will also be available.

This jewellery timepiece has a 45mm case that is polished with 18K King Gold and set with 248 diamonds, whereas the bezel is set with 54 diamonds. It’s a self-winding skeleton chronograph movement with a power reserve of 42hours and 50m water resistance. Indeed a King’s watch!
